The main objective of the Polish Offshore Wind Industry Chamber (PIMEW) is to promote, support the development and represent the economic interests of the members of the Chamber operating in Poland in the field of production, services, trade or construction for the offshore wind energy sector.
PIMEW's statutory objectives are achieved, among other things, by:
expressing opinions on draft regulatory solutions concerning offshore wind energy and the principles and practice of conducting business operations in Poland and the European Union,
Participating in the preparation of draft legal acts in accordance with the principles laid down in the Articles of Association, including the formulation of its own proposals for regulatory solutions aimed at achieving the collective economic objectives of the members of the Chamber,
Cooperating with public authorities of the Republic of Poland and the European Union, as well as with other domestic and foreign organisations to the extent necessary for the fulfilment of the Chamber's tasks, including delegating its representatives to such bodies and organisations,
Collecting, analysing, processing and disseminating information and market data concerning the conditions for the operation and development of the offshore wind energy sector within the scope of the Chamber's tasks,
Initiating, carrying out and supporting the organisation of activities in the field of formal and non-formal education at all levels and the professional training of employees;
