The event was a confirmation of the long-standing cooperation between the organisations, which was established between the PFTM and the Polish Offshore Wind Energy Society, the predecessor of the PIMEW.
"The offshore wind market in Poland is indeed becoming a reality. This makes the work of an organisation such as ours, which almost exclusively represents the offshore wind industry in Poland on a national level, all the more meaningful and important. In order to complement those areas of competence in which the management of our organisation does not necessarily have to specialise, such as shipbuilding, we would like to establish substantial cooperation with such organisations that are a carrier of competence in this area, such as the PFTM," said Jakub Budzyński, President of the Polish Chamber of Offshore Wind Energy, during the event.
The Polish Forum for Offshore Technology is an association of entrepreneurs related to the maritime industry in the broadest sense, which was established in 2019. PFTM currently has about 70 members. It organises cyclical meetings, supports initiatives such as participation in industry trade fairs and more.
